ConnectWithKindness.com is an online community built around trackable Kindness Coins. The idea is to do something kind for someone and pass along the Kindness Coin – each of which has a unique serial number. The back side of the coin has instructions for the receiver to come to our site and use the serial number to “track” it. The receiver enters his or her address (full address, intersection, or just zip code) and a comment about how he or she received the coin. Our tracking database then uses this information to plot the travels of the coin on a zoom-able map and shows the history of the comments left by the coin givers and receivers.

We hope the idea of being able to track one’s coin as it travels around the world (today our mapping is limited to the USA and Canada only) will encourage people to do kind things for others because he or she will be able to see the chain of kindness as the coin is passed on.

Our coins are about 2 inches in diameter (about 4 times the overall size of a US quarter) and antique brass in color. For each coin purchased we will donate $1 to one of four charities that you can choose at check-out.
